I'd suggest going through the steps (pop-jump-slide) over and over in your head until you have it down. Knowing the steps, clear your mind and let your feet do their thing. I found to that if I put too much pressure on my board, I cant ollie either…

An ollie is one of the most basic tricks, and as soon as you get it you can start practicing more tricks.... trust me.... the harder you pop the tail, the more you slide your foot, and the higher you jump with your board, the higher you will go.

push the pop down, don't think about your front foot, and throw your weight up a bit and bend your knees, once you pop just try to move your foot like you are going to stand on the bolts, it will level out the board, then slowly work up, we all star…
